Séquoia Prévention’s mission
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That’s why Séquoia Prévention’s mission is to shine a light on wellness and help you find your way there through compassionate coaching and quality products.
Choose compassion
The very first step on the winding path to wellness is to choose self-compassion—to choose yourself. I’ve learned to cultivate compassion from the inside out. My life philosophy is rooted in being mindful of others and listening openly to understand what they need.
Maintain balance
We all have balance deep within us, even if it may feel fleeting. Finding and maintaining balance is a daily practice that lays the groundwork for your path to wellness. I’m here to give you tools to boost your defenses against anything that threatens to throw you off along the way.
Create harmony
Harmony is like a key: it opens the door to a rich and fulfilling life. I want to honour life by helping you find harmony, so you can savour everything life has to offer and be truly well.

From adversity, opportunity
I’m someone who truly loves life. I’m also a mother of five and an entrepreneur who has seen and done a lot over the years. My ethnically diverse background gave me the opportunity to live in foreign lands, learn four languages, and experience other cultures first-hand. But none of that prepared me for what my life had in store for me.
My first serious health problem began in April 2007 after my fourth child was born.e I had a transient ischemic attack that ravaged me physically and psychologically. Four months later, utterly exhausted and only 34, I learned I had triple-negative, very aggressive, breast cancer
Facing a grim prognosis and the prospect of a life cut drastically short, I followed my doctor’s recommendations and underwent two surgeries, seven rounds of chemo, and seven weeks of radiation.
After struggling through all these treatments and surgeries, I was devastated to learn that there were no guarantees for the cancer-free future I longed for. I felt more dead than alive—sapped of energy and with unbearable pain all over my body. How could I possibly live like this, with four kids under seven?
I realized that if I didn’t make the right choices, I’d never see them grow up. I had to choose a better path. So I embarked on what I now call “my healing journey” and radically changed how I live and care for myself.
When the door opens
My healing journey was both challenging and eye-opening. In hindsight, I realize that both my cancer and the side effects of the chemicals used to treat me were a gift, an opportunity, an invitation to transform my life and reach another level of consciousness. My struggle changed my entire approach to life and to my health. I turned to natural wellness techniques and trained in fields like nutritherapy and aromatherapy. I developed a strong, deep connection to life that continues to guide me in making decisions to sustain my long-term health and balance.
The birth of my fifth childe in 2015 was such a gift and proof that my choices had brought me back to life. I’d regained the healthy balance I needed to create a new life, even though my doctor had said that having another baby would be next to impossible.
I’m driven by the same enthusiasm and passion today as I was then. I want to honour life. And the best way for me to do that is to share my experience and knowledge to guide others toward a better quality of life. That’s why I founded Séquoia Prévention.
I’ve experienced and learned so much to get to where I am today. I want to share these life lessons with you so you can cultivate your tree of life as well.
